STRATA Networks is accepting applications for a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist.

This person will be responsible for managing all digital marketing efforts and campaigns across multiple channels and platforms. They will be expected to develop and optimize online marketing funnels and communicate the results & performance of digital ad campaigns to the department and company leaders. Strata Networks is accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator. This position is full-time and is fully benefitted. Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive experience with excavators, backhoes, dozers, and/or bore machines.

A valid Class A CDL will be required. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment, be dependable, safety conscious, have good communication and basic computer skills, and follow directions. Must be able to lift up to 100 Lbs., climb in and out of trenches and manholes and perform manual labor when asked.

STRATA Networks is accepting applications for a full-time Network Operations Center Technician.

The NOC Technician is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues affecting business and residential customers and the availability and quality of the network. This individual must be able to employ investigative and troubleshooting skills to identify, isolate, and resolve routine to very complex system and network issues.

Employees are expected to achieve individual, and team goals and have a positive approach in interactions with customers and team members. Must be able to communicate with technical staff to ensure issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and have very strong technical, communication, and organizational skills within a fast-paced environment.

STRATA Networks is currently accepting applications for an OSP Engineer. This position provides engineering of Outside Plant (OSP) Projects and Project Management of Projects.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide design and management of:
    • Fiber-optic and copper-based projects (to the home, business, cell-site, node, etc) including staking sheets/construction drawings
    • Tabulation of materials
    • Coordination with other Engineers, Logistics, Construction, and Facilities groups on assigned projects
  • Records Management
    • Helps ensure maps and records are up to date with any changes in BLC’s, FDA’s, and other upgrades
    • As needed, helps provide maps and information to management
  • Participate in aspects of strategic planning processes as assigned.
  • Coordinate with local, state, and federal government entities on projects as necessary (road construction projects, permits, mapping, etc)
  • Special projects (State and Federal mapping obligations, internal mapping, and informational needs, etc)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • Maintain current driver’s license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Field
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Google Earth
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong and effective English skills, both written and spoken
  • Demonstration of the ability to learn new skills
  • Confidence to interact with all levels internally, with customers, and with suppliers

Preference will be given to those with:

  • Experience in Road Design, Utility Coordination, Surveying
  • Experience with telecommunications and/or related utilities is preferred
  • Experience with drafting, mapping, and GIS platforms

STRATA Networks is looking for a Senior Accountant to help oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. The Senior Accountant will manage a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, federal & state compliance, corporate policies, and external audits. 

The position is one of trust, and candidates must be individuals of integrity. The ideal candidate possesses leadership capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting background, and works proactively to drive results. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in accounting information system reporting and/or demonstrated programming or system integration experience.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Maintains general and subsidiary ledgers by entering various transaction information regarding transactions, preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and allocating revenues and expenses among accounts and budgets.
  • Prepares, analyzes, and reviews various operating and financial statements to ensure accuracy and conformity with established accounting classifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to use report writers (ex., Crystal reports, Cognos, SQL, etc.)
  • Demonstrate leadership in thought & action
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies and irregularities by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by CFO/Controller.*

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field plus one to two years accounting experience. Master’s degree can take the place of experience

Strata Networks is seeking applications for Seasonal Laborers. This position is considered temporary and may complete up to 1000 hours. The wage is $14 per hour, and will have the opportunity for overtime.

The Automation and Measurement Technician works on various customer’s equipment to get data from well sites, salt water disposals, compressor sites, plants, and any field automation devices to their respective SCADA host. 

Duties and responsibilities

The primary duty is to execute field installs of various automation instruments, transmitters, and radios as well as download, troubleshoot, and modify RTU and PLC configurations.

  • Install and maintain remote communications equipment
  • Assist Automation and SCADA engineers in troubleshooting systems from the field
  • Calibration and verification of field instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Provide on-call support to various clients’ automation and SCADA systems
  • Provide documentation of work completed

The primary duty is to assist in basic tasks relating to the maintenance and installation of a wide variety of electrical systems.

Spectra is accepting applications for a Journeyman Electrician.  This is a full-time position and is fully benefited.  

The Electrical Journeyman is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of electrical systems. They perform installation and maintenance tasks to ensure the effective operation of various electrical equipment. 

The primary duty is to install, maintain and troubleshoot a wide variety of electrical systems.  As well as promote safety standards, complete paperwork, and train apprentices.

The Telecom Tower Technician 1 installs, constructs, maintains, and operates wired, wireless, fiber optic, microwave telecommunications equipment and 2-way radio systems.  The technician provides support in the installation, maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures. The Tower Technician 1 is crucial to ensure the best possible customer experience and will be a first respondent during any threats to the network or natural disasters.  Working in extreme temperatures, working at heights above 300’, and traveling are required. This position's schedule varies depending on the project but is typically between 40-50 hours per week with weekends off. Weekday travel is required, and per diem is paid while staying out of town.

The Telecom Tower Foreman installs, constructs, maintains, and operates wired, wireless, fiber optic, microwave telecommunications equipment and 2-way radio systems for our customers. The Foreman provides support in the installation, maintenance, and operation of telecommunication site infrastructures.  The Tower Foreman oversees assigned projects.  He is responsible for maximizing crew efficiency with a focus on safety and profitability of the projects through effective site management and continuing to look for areas of improvement on our work sites. His ultimate responsibility is for the safety and wellbeing of the crew members. He is responsible and accountable for all activities of the crew, equipment, and company resources when a direct superior is not on site. Working in extreme temperatures, heights above 300’, and traveling are required.
