Investing in our Future.
Scholarships
Every year, Strata is dedicated to offering financial support to local students who are striving for higher education and are committed to making a positive impact in rural communities. Our goal is to assist those who aspire to pursue advanced training in career preparation, with a special emphasis on fields such as telecommunications or any other area that contributes to the growth of rural development in the Uintah Basin.
URECA Leadership Challenge
We’re thrilled to join forces with rural cooperatives throughout Utah to make a difference in the lives of high school juniors. Every summer, we proudly sponsor a group of these incredible students to attend the URECA Youth Leadership Challenge at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. It’s an amazing opportunity to develop leadership skills, connect with fellow students, and gain a deeper understanding of how cooperatives operate.
FRS Washington, DC Tour
Each summer, we are honored to provide sponsorship for a group of 16-17-year-old high school students to participate in the Foundations for Rural Service (FRS) Tour held in Washington, D.C. This exceptional opportunity allows students from various parts of the United States to expand their knowledge of rural telecommunications while immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of our nation’s capital.
