Meet Our Charity: Con Amore School
This year’s proceeds will be donated to the Con Amore School, located in Myton City. The school provides individualized education programs and resources to students with severe multiple disabilities and developmental delays.
The Con Amore School has been serving Duchesne County since 1977, supporting students with severe disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, communication impairments, rare genetic disorders, syndromes, students who are both blind and deaf, and more. They provide their students with special speech and language services and occupational, physical, and adaptive physical therapy. They are currently the only specifically designed facility within the Uintah Basin that specializes in and educates students with disabilities and developmental delays.
“The community has been very generous to support the students of Con Amore in the past with their time and donations to ensure that they have an equal opportunity to have the best education to meet their unique needs,” said Lola Stansfield, Con Amore School Principal. “It means a lot to our students and parents to be accepted in the community.”
