Strata Networks is proud to announce that the proceeds from this year’s Charity Golf Classic will be presented to Project Alley, a non-profit organization working to establish a sober living facility for women in the Uintah Basin.
Project Alley was founded in 2023 and is dedicated to providing specialized care and support for women struggling with addiction. The funds raised through the Strata Charity Golf Classic will play a pivotal role in bringing Project Alley to life by helping to provide funding that will secure the property that will later house an inpatient recovery center. The money raised at Strata’s event will directly contribute to creating a safe haven where women can embark on their journey to recovery with dignity and support.
“This invaluable contribution will drive our efforts as we strive to secure property and commence the construction of a transformative community build — a residential home dedicated to empowering women,” said Heath McDougal from Project Alley. “Our aim is to guide them towards spiritual enlightenment and service-driven lives, fostering their integration as productive members of our community – a hole-in-one we can all celebrate.”
Strata’s Annual Charity Golf Classic has long been a cherished tradition for the organization, bringing together community members, sponsors, and supporters for a day of camaraderie and philanthropy.
“In the last 23 years, this event has raised nearly $350,000 that has benefitted various organizations in the community,” said Strata Networks General Manager/CEO Bruce Todd. “This year, we are thrilled to channel the generosity of our participants towards such a vital cause that affects individuals and families indiscriminately. With the community’s support, we can help make Project Alley a reality and provide the necessary resources to address the unique challenges women face in recovery.”
Strata’s Charity Golf Classic will occur on Friday, May 17th, at the Roosevelt City Golf Course and Friday, May 31st, at the Vernal Dinaland Golf Course. Participants can expect a day filled with friendly competition, networking opportunities, and the satisfaction of knowing that their involvement directly contributes to the betterment of the community.
