STRATA Announces Changes to Executive Leadership Team

STRATA Networks announced the recent retirement of two dedicated members of their executive leadership team and has subsequently named their successors.  Assistant Manager Jeff Goodrich retired after 21 years of service, effective June 5, 2021; and Vice President of Finance Karl Searle retired after 16 years of service, effective July 9, 2021.

Goodrich began his career with STRATA working in their wireless department where he helped to secure cell site property in Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming. During his tenure with STRATA, he served in many roles, but most recently as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and prior to his retirement, was named as the Assistant Manager to CEO/General Manager Bruce Todd. In addition, Goodrich served as the Vice President of the Rural Independent Network Alliance, LLC. (RINA), and conducted their board meetings.

Upon his retirement, David Ryan has been named as the new COO and will take over many of the duties previously assigned to Goodrich. Ryan has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and broadband industry, along with 17 years of leadership experience managing landline operations teams. Before becoming the VP of Finance, Karl Searle served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer for 13 years. During his time at STRATA, he proved to be an expert on tariffs and regulation and served as the Corporate Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) Officer.

Resuming many of Searle’s responsibilities will be M. Jason McKee. McKee was named the CFO of STRATA in 2018, after being a Controller at STRATA for the previous ten years. McKee holds an accounting degree from Utah State University, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts and is a Certified Public Accountant.
