Founded in 2019, DoUTAH has impacted over 10,000 individuals by removing barriers to outdoor adventures through mobility vehicle repairs, home accessibility modifications, adaptive outdoor equipment, and guided experiences. With 90% of its recipients residing in the Uintah Basin, all proceeds from this year’s tournament are committed to stay within the local community, directly benefiting local individuals and families in need.
“DoUTAH’s dedication to making the outdoors accessible for all is truly inspiring,” said Bruce Todd, General Manager/CEO of Strata Networks. “Outdoor adventure is a core part of the Uintah Basin identity, and DoUTAH gives individuals with disabilities the freedom to experience hunting, fishing, and camping—activities that are at the heart of our community. We’re honored to support their mission.”
DoUTAH operates as a fully volunteer-run nonprofit with no paid employees, ensuring that 100% of donations go directly toward its programs. Strata’s contribution will help fund specialized outdoor mobility equipment, home accessibility improvements, and the sponsorship of outdoor adventures for disabled individuals.
“On behalf of DoUTAH, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for selecting us as the beneficiary of the 2025 Golf Classic fundraiser,” said Mike Felice, President of DoUTAH. “The funds raised through this event will make a significant impact, enabling us to benefit many individuals in our community, especially those with unique abilities. Strata’s generosity will help us provide opportunities for these individuals to connect with and enjoy the great outdoors.”
The 2025 Strata Charity Golf Classic two-tournament event will take place on May 16 at the Roosevelt City Golf Course and May 23 at the Dinaland Golf Course in Vernal. This year, in addition to their traditional four-man scramble tournament, Strata is introducing a new two-man best ball tournament which will give golfers an exciting new way to compete while supporting a great cause. Businesses and individuals interested in participating in or supporting this cause can find more information at stratanetworks.com/golf.
